Cultural development:
All Dci volunteers are place under one room, to enable them interact with one another, shareing their day to day experiences with one another such as cultural differences, belief, tolerance and mutual love and respect for one another.

Cultural development:
All Dci volunteers are place under one room, to enable them interact with one another, shareing their day to day experiences with one another such as cultural differences, belief, tolerance and mutual love and respect for one another.
Dci volunteers are from different countries in West Africa, for those from francophone countries, Dci places them in schools, to teach French language, through teaching French as a subject they in turn build their capacity on English language and become better French language instructors.

2. Entrepreneurship skills development:
Dci builds all the volunteers capacity on low and medium scale entrepreneurship. The training takes a three month period before they are graduated. the second part is teaching them how to convert waste to useable materials, before they are place out in schools to teach entrepreneurship in primary and secondary schools. Such waste materials are:
Candle waste wax to candle
Candle waste wax to crayon
Wood dust, used egg shell, and detergent to pot scrubbing VIM
Waste candle wax to shoe polish
Scrape pieces of soaps to liquid soap. ETC

RURAL ICT DEVELOPMENT:
In order for DCI to assist in breaching the digital divide in rural communities.DCI volunteers volunteer to train rural community youths ICT/IT in communities. Such as Microsoft productivity courses:
Microsoft word
Power point
Access
Excel
Other courses are
window publisher
Coral draw
Web designing
Graphics.
DCI also under taking specific engineering courses such as:
Computer assemblying, maintenance and repairs.
Printer repairs
GSM repair and trouble shooting.
PC networking.
Wireless networking.

CREATIVE ART:
Here the volunteer’s teach schools their local songs, dramer and dance, secondly they also create play tools for schools from, sugar pack, empty tin milk, beverage containers, cornflacks packs ETC

CAPACITY BUILDING:
Specifically capacity building encompasses the over all human development.
DCI enhances the capabilities of each volunteer to meet developmental challenges, by facilitating learning, providing resources and training, self development and strengthening their skills in all areas.
Each DCI volunteer is enhance to carry out a project in his/her school of primary assignment.
They are built to carry out strategic planning, advocacy and project development in their focus areas.
